Photography has always been more than a passion for me, it's a way of life. Since I received my first film camera in third grade I've been capturing my family, friends and the variety of landscapes that the Hamptons has to offer.
Growing up surrounded by water, I naturally found myself falling in love with the ocean and our bays. In high school, during the long winter months, I would follow my surf friends down to the ocean and began making surf prints, just for fun. My high school photography teacher presented one of my large prints in my high school hallway and soon, teachers began asking me "How much for the print?"
I attended Pratt Institute for college pursuing a BFA in photography. After many years at an intensive art school, I returned home a little burnt out. I decided to get an office job as an admin to a real estate agent. One of the requirements of the job was to meet photographers on site at new listings.
After about one year of working in an office, I was ready and eager to get back into photography. I landed a job with a real estate marketing company, RiseMedia, taking photos of Hamptons realty. In 2020, I launched my own photography services offering family sessions, surprise proposals and other commercial services. Since then, I have been a full time freelance photographer serving the Hamptons and the North Fork.
Throughout my photography career, many people have asked me what my "favorite" thing to shoot is, and I am happy to say that, I cannot pick a favorite. I pride myself in loving all types of photography which helps enhance my overall skills as a photographer and challenges me to keep growing.
I will say my favorite thing about photography is working with my clients to bring their vision to life. If it's a casual family session or a commercial branding shoot with an experienced model, creating an environment that is comfortable, fun and in collaboration with your vision is my main goal.
